There are countless children around the globe who can benefit from a better education. This is especially true in Third World countries. At times, it makes sense to provide funding for a specific child. However, providing funding to support the further education of the teachers who devote their lives to educating these children ultimately helps many more children for far less money. Providing an opportunity for these teachers to pursue their dream of becoming better trained, more proficient educators, results in many more children, over many years, having a chance to receive a quality education.

A few hundred dollars often is all it takes to provide a full semester of advanced education to a third world country teacher. But when these teachers only make $100 a month, if they get paid at all, and often have to support their family on this income, well, a few hundred dollars might as well be a million dollars. Any further education is simply out of their reach.

Our goal is to identify deserving teachers and help support their desire to further develop their teaching skills in order to provide a much better education to the many children they will encounter over the years.
